Jeremy Park was born and raised in southern California. His passion for exercise and athletics started young, beginning with baseball as a child and competitive running at age 12. Jeremy attended Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, California, where he was a 4-year varsity Cross-Country Running and Track and Field athlete and earned All-State California High School Cross-Country Division I honors in 1994. He also competed at the collegiate level as a Cross-Country Running and Track and Field athlete for Point Loma Nazarene University during the span 1995-1999. Jeremy graduated with honors from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education: Athletic Training and Exercise Science. While attending Point Loma Nazarene University, he served internships in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at OASIS Sports Medicine (San Diego, CA) and Physical Therapy at Grossmont Hospital (San Diego, CA). Following college, Jeremy moved to Wisconsin for two years where he earned his National Registry Emergency Medical Technician I Certification (1999-2001) and was an American Heart Association Certified CPR/AED Instructor (2000-2002).

Upon returning to California in 2001, Jeremy earned his initial Personal Training certification through the APEX Fitness group and worked as a personal trainer in Escondido, CA. During that time, he studied Sport-Specific and Olympic Lift Training through the USA Weightlifting Association. Jeremy continued studying and earned one of the nation’s top-ranked exercise certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS). Since this time Jeremy has worked in Encinitas and Solana Beach as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning specialist. Jeremy foundedĀ pillarPERFORMANCE with Colleen Naus in 2006, a successful Personal Training and Pilates facility in Encinitas, CA.

Jeremy is an experienced personal trainer, with expertise ranging from post-injury/sports rehab and conditioning to general health and fitness training, to youth and adult sport-specific training. Jeremy also continues to compete in races throughout San Diego County ranging from 5 and 10K to Ā½ and full Marathons, as well as coaches Little League Baseball.
